May '06 - Classes Lengthened!

Following our recent student evaluation, all computer and English classes have been lengthened!

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the services offered by the centre meet the requirements of the community, we conduct detailed student evaluation sessions at the end of every course. In our second evaluation it was very apparent that our students wanted a shift towards more, and longer, lessons - they just can't get enough!

Because of our limited classroom space and the number of students we have been unable to accommodate all their demands - to have 2 hour lessons 5 days a week was physically impossible! All courses now have 2 lessons a week with English classes lasting 2 hours each and computers 1 1/2 hours. This is the first step in a move towards improving the quality of all our courses - something we will do in conjunction with our students and the local community.
